    My goodness,

I just realigned my password, they still remembered my e-adddy and I am logged on once again!

I haven't been here for some years( 2-5 yrs for sure)!!!! Man, has this site evolved.

I'm speechless, so much has changed in PC world and afterdawn has kept the pace. Kudos!

So if I still have any old mates, post will ya? I love a good conversation!!!

Not all people are that friendly. Some people seem to make a habit of being obnoxious, ignorant and just plain young punks; not all young peeps though. I don't know you but as far as old timers I am 63, does that qualify? LOL. Going to the VA hospital for a heart bypass friday so I won't see a response. I apologize for some peoples lack of manners and poor up bringing.

Good luck Jim. I will be 61, in a couple of weeks, and I too, am making visits to the VA Hospital, for my heart. No by-pass, just meds.

GrandpaBW, How Are you doing? Good i hope! I haven't been around for some time so it's really nice to see a familiar name. I've read many a post where you steered folk in the right direction. God bless, take care of that big heart!!

jims47, welcome to the the forum and thanks for your reply!! Your seniority gives you grace, good speed to a recovery.

This used to be a forum of respect and dignity for its longtime members, as far as I can recall.

ddp, your idea of a greeting is sour to say the least. "Why?" If that's the way we treat members here now I'm quite disappointed.

However, I've been perusing many the forums and still see a lot of good familiar names, and it's these people that made this site a great place to LEARN.

Well ddp, I will graciously accept that reply as an apology.

Seems to me, you may have changed your tune, since the "why?", remember ddp, if you are going to relpy to something being a Moderator, usually one word answers won't do. You must still provide a reason.

In my day, maybe in another time, people just didn't 'play' with people!

This will be how you will gain respect.

simple enough question required nothing more than a simple answer there was no need to go on the defensive, see that's the thing about forums it's all about perception pays to take a step back occasionally

To all Who have replied to this thread, a great many thanks!

Since being back, i've been seeing many familiar names who are still diligently trying to help and teach others.

This puts a great big smile on my face, because i've learnt soo much from you folk!

It's just wonderfull to see a fully developed and integrated site such as this...

Many thanks once again to all.
