WhErE iS tHe ViBrAtIoN fUsE ? N controller or N ps2?

Here's my story, a while back i messed up my orinal ps2 controller. i went out to buy a madz cat controller and i worked ok until i did something stupid...... I cut both of the controller's wire and used each of the color coded wire and hooked it up .... meaning: i wanted the controller to vibrate on the old orinal messed up ps2 controller. the problem with the original ps2 controller is that the cord was cut. so i decided to sacrafice the madz cat controller and use the cord of madz cat controller and wired it to the old original ps2 controller. by the way, the old one was made by sony. now i heard that it might be a fuse blown, but i opened it up and i saw no fuse strange i thought..... so now when i buy a new controller by sony, it will work perfectly fine,,..... except that it WILL not vibrate... at all..... even when it is set to vibration..... help me please.... got any answers?
thanks..... Please help The Poor kid his ps2 working again... thanxs...

why on earth did you do that....psh ok never mind but it usually depends on the game if it vibrates or not check the settings if vibrate is on.

When you say fuse wat do you mean? inside the controller? well if you bought a new original one it should work fine. I doubt that theres any fuse in the ps2 which would control vibration in a game... afterall its just a message telling the motor in the controller to move around.

    erm hoped i helped. :S!

well actauly there IS a fuse on the ps2.. not on controler... if the controller stops vibrating check the controller 1st THEN test the ps2... you can take the controller to another friend who has ps2 and see if it works...

i been doing some snoping around and that is how i found out that there is a fuse inside the ps2 that control the vibration system, i think i found it, but i doesnt' seem to be replaceable, maybe a new controller port will help? do you think so? i hope so... anyways thanx for the feed back...

nah... replacing the port will NOT help... if its the fuse then either go to the lab with it or just leave it this way...
