As far as I know you cant. They are only supplied to the industry and I doubt our writers could burn them anyway.
DVD-9s can be only pressed, not burned. They are basically two thin DVDs glued together to produce two layers for the data on slightly different wavelength, AFAIK.
so its not possible to buy a dual sided dvd? i thought u could, which would make it 9.2bg, well just a thought....
Dual sided DVD-Rs are NOT DVD-9s, they are DVD-10s: http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/dvd-9.cfm http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/terms/dvd-10.cfm And by using dual sided DVD-Rs, you still need to split DVD-9s to two sides, so the time it takes is equal to splitting the movie over two DVD-5 discs.
