Hi everyone,I'm new to this forum and would like some advice on purchasing a cable box.I'm with vir**n,but have the basic package.I would like to buy the Eurovox ex 5000 or similar but would like to buy it by cash in a shop and see it.Does anyone know where this can be done and how much I'm likely to pay.I'm in London and any help will be appreciated.

I doubt you will find them in shops mate.

You probs better off looking for a supplier and and purchasing online.
The box is £110 inc. delivery. £149.99 inc delivery with 120GB HDD.

Thanks shubagh18,I thought there was somewhere I could go to and actually see these things before taking the plunge.Especially as there are supposed to be a lot of clones out there.Anyway,Ill just have to buy it online and hope I don't go wrong especially as some HDD makes do not work well with PVR.

Dont worry about the clone factor with the PVR's. It's way too early for anyone to clone them yet. Other models may have been cloned so watch out for them, but as your getting a PVR, no worries.

If you want a HDD that works stick to a 80GB or 120GB Seagate Momentus or a Western Digital. Make sure you ask the seller that he has HD that is working and tested, although most sellers do, ask first for piece of mind.
