i thought when you burn a .cue file sheet to a cd that, that cd is like having the real game. when i insert the cd it and start to play the game, it says "please insert CD". But, the CD that i burned is already in the cd-rom drive.I thought the burned .cue file is like having the real game on CD. Where do i get no-cd cracks??? and why do i have to "insert a cd" if the cd i burned is in the rom-drive. What is the difference between ISO and .bin .cue files?? I want to insert the cd and be able to play off the cd, not the hard drive.
    How can I do this????
    Do you understand my question??
i dont understand the point of burning a cd if i have to play off my hard drive????

    Please help!!!

The game (bin& cue) your backing up is most likely cd protected (Safedisc). Let me know what game your backing up and what brand name burner and model your using.

I am backing up High Heat baseball 2004. I have an LG burner. I am not sure of the model, but it is brand new.

When you burn .cue sheets onto a cd should the game auto play or do you have get a crack and such??

If your LG model is a newer model, then you should be safe using Alcohol 120% without using emulation. Use the settings I posted on another thread and the game should play just fine. Now that I know the brand& model number of your burner, you'll need to EXIT Alcohol 120 from system tray, then insert your backup in your burner and the backup should play.

Which thread is the one you posted???

My alcohol 120 is not on my system tray (if the system tray is at the bottom right corner)

"you'll need to EXIT Alcohol 120 from system tray, then insert your backup in your burner and the backup should play." ????

i do not understand what you mean

when i insert my cd, I install the game and then i go to play it and it says please insert CD but the CD is already inside the rom drive.

    please help!!??

Shoey is telling you that, since the CD is protected, you had to burn 'a little more stuff' that was in the .BIN/.CUE image and that conventional software like, say, Nero or CDRWin are uncapable to do.

If you use those software, the CD often does not install, and even if it does, it finds that the CD is a copy and asks for the original CD. In ths case, to play the CD you need to crack the game (we do not post links to such material, it' forbidden here) or to use a softwarr that 'emulates' the protection.

If you do a perfect backup, instead, you'll cheat the protection scheme and no patches or emulation is needed.

Using Alcohol 120% with datatype=Safedisc2 should do the job. A tutorial is here.

read also the 'Alcohol coasters' setction of the guide, should you have problems on the copy made with Alcohol.
