so in other words..u are stuffed and stuck with faulty box. the box is sold as fta. thats how the suppliers will only take it back. so as long as no one flashes it, theres a warranty! how many users have brought this just for fta? so theres is no way to put back to fta?
why would you want to put it back to FTA ??if the box is dead and dont work well then there is no prob is there who is going to know that any firmware was put on the box
who actually would buy one for FTA? when you can get more chans by putting the cable directly into yer TV on a basic analogue feed. As e45 says, if the box is genuinely knackered then who knows what on it, so just give your supplier a shout back with the prob
heres a story... you buy a a780...you then flash it....you then plug it in to the net etc but it wont unscramble becuase the box id has not been reg on the server, although you can software update through the box and have net connection... all the above but this one clears channs ok but stutters and freezes on all inc fta..same house etc even though serval other boxes are fine on same line/connection...faulty tuner...there have been a few for some. resolve is to take it back for replace...oh sh%t...guess what? wont take back with flashed box! now you see my point??? so we are all stuffed if we need to return under warranty...unless you dont flash.
did you ring your supplier ?? what did they say about it ? you must be a reseller if you are you should have no problem sending it back to your supplier
if you are a legit suppier...would you take back and hold a flashed box? i dont blame them...i wouldnt..would you? surley like the dm software..dreamup must be a way of saving original image?
i would doubt you could even get it off the box what i can suggest you try is putting a old n1 750 file on the box that way it will only be fta
