    on the large ps2,at the back is a code something like this....
    scph 20005.theres only 1 like it on or near black warranty sticker.
    a phone number 4 memtech is 0870 8907456,they can tell you everthing.
    they are very helpful good luck.sorry 4 late reply.
    ps alternatly if some1 goes to to thailand get them 2 buy a ps2 there
    they are modified already and play every back up ps2 game...trust me
