Where to start with scripting!

    Well, scripting just seems so complicated! Where do i start!
    I want to learn how to script for .net programs (using c++?) and Mattie Event Scripts (Counter-Strike:Source). Can someone give a a very good link on a tutorial for scripting or give me a place to start?
