I've been looking all over the site for a "PayPal Donate" button but I can't seem to find it. Maybe I haven't looked in the right place? Can someone tell me where it is? I want to donate to thank AfterDawn for being fair when it comes to ban and suspend people and for teaching me everything I know about the PSP.

    Thank you,
    BTFan

i'm pretty sure there isn't one. AD's costs are covered by ads, and from what i've heard, a little profit is made on top of that.

Looks like Auslander is correct. I couldn't find a button either, I looked around for about 5-10 minutes. Google didn't get me anywhere either.

Although becoming a registered user does get rid of most of the ads, some remain although very few. If you would like to donate I am sure there is a way to do so, although I am not 100% on that.

A mod (or some other "behind-the-scene" person) should come along sometime and enlighten us more. But, if not just make being a good member seems to be enough of a reward for the site and its admins, mods and users in general.

    Peace

EDITED by Pop_Smith: Corrected some grammar. :p

No it's OK...I wouldn't give my money to someone who claims that they will give it to the right person...no offense.

Asking and accepting donations is illegal in Finland for a company (and also for an individual) without a permission and permissions are usually handed only to non-profit organizations.

Best ways to support our site:

    1) don't block ads on our site, ever

    2) if you see an interesting ad on our site, visit the advertiser and if you are convinced of their product, buy it from them

    3) Visit our site more often and visit also other sections of our site (thousands of forum regulars rarely know that we have one of the most popular software download section in our niche or that we recently launched a quite extensive product comparison service).

    4) Recommend the site to your friends

    5) Link to our site from other sites (forums, your personal homepage, etc)

Basically we put all the extra money to expand our staff, improve our servers and generally put more and more resources on developing the site.
