I was wondering this myself. I live in the US and have no objections to buying used games but I haven't seen the cheap prices that we are used to. The PS3 as been out for well over a year now...where are the $19.99 games? Where do you buy your games?
£9.99?! That'd be a dream, an amazing dream, but still a dream :/ That'll never happen, at least here in the UK, in the shops the cheapest you ever see (in the sales etc.) is £17.99. The newest games are always £34.99 or above (RRP is £49.99 for most), eBay is the only place we ever see anything cheaper than £15.
Wow, in the US our games retail for 68.45 AUD or 60 USD. On eBay we can get new games for 40 45.65 AUD or 40 USD. It must suck to live there :S
i hate the uk its such a tax ripoff country i want to emigrate, costs me a fortune to buy games here.
lemnur i know how you feel, we get ripped here in Aus. I stopped buying games locally (unless their on special) and now import my games from playasia. You'll save bout $20 to $30 depending on the game, not a bad option if you don't mind waiting bout a week for the games to get delivered.
Pisho thanks what is play asia never heard of it. Can you please explain saving $20-$30 is enough for me.
yep, the games are new, just Google "play-asia" it'll be the first result. All they do is sell the games from the US or asia were the prices are a lot lower then Australia, I've bought most of my games from them, never had any problems. The PS3 games are region free so they work on an Aussie ps3 no problems. For example COD4 and Unchartered are both going for $75 now, alright saving compared to here for $100 to $109. As i said it's pretty good if you don't mind waiting about a week for delivery, you can also then get games same time as they're released in the US instead of waiting months for the AUS release.
