The best all around back-up solution is the M3 due to it's high compatibility with everything you throw at it. But if you don't plan on using any features other than the ability to play DS back-ups, I suggest taking a look at the EZIV and Supercard as well since they aren't as expensive and do comparatively well with DS back-ups.

Hey guys complete noob to the DS scene. I just purchased a DS Lite and started to do some reading on the homebrew stuff. From what I am reading, the M3 with Passcard 3 looks to be the most popular solution. Question, does it stick out or protrude out? I was just reading about the new SuperCard DS Lite coming out soon. Below is some details:

"We are pleased to announce that we will stock the newly announced SuperCard DS Lite, a 'no sticking out' solution for DS Lite consoles which also allows the use of MicroSD cards. We are offering a special pre-order price of $49.99 right now, which is subject to change upon release to $54.99."

    What do you guys think?

Everything sticks out of the DS Lite except for the EZIV Lite and G6 Lite. M3 should be coming out with a DS Lite version sometime soon.

If that Supercard Lite is the same as the larger version, then it should work fine.
