I have an Xbox and I want to play burned DVDs...i have TDK's that won't play on my Xbox, but will play on a regular DVD player. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

    Welcome to aD!
Yes burned DVD's should play on your xbox. You just may have to experiment to see which ones/brands it likes. If you have a burner that spports booktyping I would suggest doing this w/ +r media. That will make the disc appear to be a dvd-rom which is highly compatable w/ most players.
Two other things that may help: make sure your firmware is up to date on your burner and you are not burning at max speed.

I have a Lite On 1693S. I'm not sure if that supports book typing or not. I hear Verbatim's are good, so I might give those a shot. Thanks for the tips!
