Hi, I know this is probably a common question on here so sorry if anyone’s answered this before. I’ve been using one of the old analog boxes for years now and just never got roundto changing it. With the digital switch over in my area official kicked off today everything was lost and I’m not getting any channels but just a scrolling message along the bottom of the screen to upgrade to digital. At the moment I have the original box back in. I’m now looking into buying one of these digital receivers and not exactly sure which one to get. I don’t plan on using it for anything other than watching tv. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks Gavin
I do have a digital box, have done since the start but i had an old chipped analogbox which i was using. Hope this makes it a bit clearer
jaysus that was quick lol,once your area is digital yes these boxes will work,try the eurovox ex1000 nice and simple box.
yeah lol, was busying doing somework on laptop and email poppedup saying there was a reply or something, Had a quick look at that one, few peole mentioned it uses totally different firmare,wasnt sure if that was easy to come y but im guessing it is. Cheers for the tip anywyas Gav
any firmware or futher firmware for these boxes is alway's available and updated on a regular basis in eamos library under my pic,courtesy of some very helpful members of the forum
