Hey. I am new to the whole flash card scene and need some help/suggestions.

I am interested in buying a flash card so I can play homebrew, back-ups, and run an SNES emulator on a DS Lite. I have read a lot of pages about the different types of cards however most of them are from 2007 and seem to be dated. Because of this I am having trouble making a up-to-date decision.

Which card would you guys suggestion to purchase and what type of storage should I purchase to go with it? Also, where should I purchase it from.

I checked out the listing on Real Hot Stuff and noticed the Cyclo DS Evolution has built in MP3 support, e-book reader, etc. Is there a stripped down version or brand that costs less? Or is that pretty much the best deal?

Also, I noticed a thing called "Acekard 2" listed for only $19 and it seems to play the things I wanted just doesn't have the MP3 and other features included. Is this comparable to the Cyclo DS Evolution or is it an inferior product not worth the money?

The Cyclo DS is the "cadillac".

All flashcarts have the same basic features.

You asked for a recommendation, and that's what I recommend. There are others on this board that have the less expensive alternatives and are quite happy with them

Cyclo DS is one of only 3 flashcarts that can talk to a Wii.
