which chips can you play online backups on?

    besides messiah and dms3, can other chips play online backups like the magic or duo chips???

    Hey I cant play NFSU or FIFA 2004 online, and mine are both backups made with DVD Decrypter. What program should I use to backup an online game?

    not able to play backups doesn't depend on the program you are using. Most of the newer titles are protected by DNAS and to play backups online you have to patch them.

    i tried the disc id insertor and the ps2nf0.exe thing and neither of them would allow me to play my back ups online, even though i followed all the steps that everyone said works:(. im really out of gas on this one guys, any help plz.

    I don't think you can play online with any of the mod chips. You have to put them into sleep mode to play your originals online and once you do that then your backups will not play.

    The patching is to put the DNAS ID from your original onto your backup. The only way that I know how to play that patched backup online is to use the Swap Magic disks and Fliptop, not with a mod chipped PS2.

    yes you can use a modded ps2 to play backups online providing the chip has auto sleep wich most chips do .

    well how can you play a backup if your chip is asleep??? wouldnt u get the RSOD?

    I Patched Fifa 2004 & NFSU, and i can play both online now with my modchip on, so i have no clue what u ppl are talking about?
