At the moment i have a dell 2.4 ghz 250mb ram, 15 inch flat screen monitor, crap graphics card etc... (its about 4 years old) back then it was ok, paid £900 for it then, want to get rid of it and invest in a new model, was looking at dell again, but would like some advice on any other models from people who know what they are talking about. Looking to spend about the same again £900.

4 years ago you got a P4 2400! Wow, I didn't realise they were available that long ago. Well, the best places to get PCs from are really custom-build sites, not big manufacturers as the overheads are very little. Coming from the UK, there's pcspecialist.co.uk or there are sites that sell components but will configure a system for you like Aria. You may not come from the UK but check out those sites so you know roughly what to look for in your location.

Lol only now do I see you gave a price in pounds. D'oh!
PCspecialist seems the best deal site I've found so far.
