i have a 1tb drive coming in the mail and i see it scores much better on hdtune than the 2 i already have, ive been reading up and find alot of people say that partitioning drives slows them down, but that is the only way i would put the os on that drive is with a 20 or 30 gb partition. so just wondering would i get better performance with a 30gb partition the the 1tb drive or by using one of the other 2? hope that made sense. thanx.

oh and i will post hd tune images of all the drives so u can see what i have.

Partitioning only causes slow downs when you are copying between partitions on the same drive, or when both partitions are being accessed at the same time. Still, you are better off using the 250GB as a boot drive and leaving the 1TB for storage.
