    Hey All,

Could anyone tell me which DVD burner is the best for burning the Ps2 games and X-box games? I have no idea what i should get. I'm not sure about the reviews about some of them either. I hear some good things and some bad things about everything. I dont know which to believe. I hear the Pioneer dvd burners are good but then i read something and another person says they're no good. Its confusing. Could someone also explain to me what the - and + is for the DVD burners. That's confusing too. Thanks.

This question keeps getting asked & asked...

Search other threads for your answers !

    DVD-R/RW (CBR-Constant BitRate)
    DVD+R/RW (VBR-Variable BitRate)

DVD-R is the most common, cheapest & at the moment the most compatible to play in your stand alone player.

I would suggest, if you have the funding, the dvd+-r/rw drive by sony, the specific model escapes me, aside from that I would really suggest the pioneet dvr-105, it works very well, is dvd-r/rw, and has good support as well as documentation.

The Sony DRU500 is the model being bought that burns in both DVD-R & DVD+R formats.

Thanks for telling me which one to get. Out of the Pioneer and Sony, which is better?

I have a Pioneer so I might be slightly bias.

The Sony does both formats though DVD-R & DVD+R
