Ok i was surfing the net at best buy and noticed that on sale they have a 50pk TDK DVD+R 8x for $19.00. So if i buy 2 of them they will be $38.00. Also was noticing at Sam's Club they have 100pk Verbatim DVD+R 8x made in Taiwan for $39.78. So which one is a better brand to buy? Also, what should i look for when i am reading them in order to make sure they r not bad discs involved? thx..

You're asking this question in the wrong forum. There is a WHOLE media forum elsewhere, where you should ask this kind of question. http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/47

Oh wait... I see why you might have not asked in the DVD-R Media forum (as I suggested with the above link) since you want to know about +R media... Even so, you should still ask there.

Don't buy media from a chain store. There are much better deals than what you've described, which you can secured through online vendors. Even with shipping, it will be cheaper... and, you'll get better (more reliable) media!
