    folks

please could anyone shed some light on this query...

i have a couple of eurovox max v boxes, one at home and one at my gf's...

my uncle wants one but after looking around all morning, it seems they dont make them any more nor can i find an old 1 to buy...

the question is, what is the equivalent box nowadays what will do the same thing as the max v, ie get all the bloody channels...
i see a newer box with a hard drive option, the eurovix ex5100 pvr... is this the equivalent box? do they get all the channels with the correct firmware on?

there is a cheaper box, an ex1000... same crack but without a HD>?

if you all could buy a one today, which would you go for?

    thanks folks

no just in ireland mate although if i was buying a new box i would personally go for a kryptview or an Itgate as they seem to be the quickest off the mark with their firmware !!!!
