which graffics card is better?

    i have a radeon 9600 pro video card and an invidia geforce 7600 gt.the best of the two is going into my computer.the other in my kids computer.i realize these are not top end cards,but which one is best?thanks Al.

    thanks.thats pretty much my way of thinking here as well.i put the ati in the kids comp.and kept my invidia in mine.cheers.

    The Nvidia also has 256mb of memory versus the ati 128mb.
    Go with the nvidia.

    You can get PCIe versions of the 7600GT as well as AGP. The 9600 Pro can only be 8x AGP. Indeed, the 7600GT is the better card, simply because it's newer. aldan - check what slot you have, if both cards are AGP and you only have a PCIe slot you'll need to buy a new card regardless.
