hello all,im new to all these top box scramblers ie Digivox,Eurovox and Starview(i think there the main 3)and am looking to buy 1 pretty soon but im wondering if 1 of them is a cut above the rest in your experience? im with virgin media and have a basic tv package with them is ebay the place to buy one from? do they need regular updating for firmware as iv got vista and have read problems occur using vista the Divivox XL looks impressive,im looking forward to getting one of these boxes if they are reliable lol so thanks in advance for your help
they are all reliable, just shop around, google for what you are looking for and you will get plenty of results, starviews are more user friendly in my opinion anyway but up to you
@ hixxy, unless you are recommended some on on fleabay, then i would be weary, as you can end buying a clone box unaware, for me westmidstarview on fleabay is recommended, Skywonder, Wizard to name a few who sell genuine boxs and offer a year warranty which they will back up, for me it would be the euro or sv3, both are user friendly and there is a wealth of info on them should you need some help to fix any issues, the Digivox is a good box, but doesnt seem to be as user friendly as the other two, but thats just my opinion
I really like the replay lite, i find it really easy to use Only problem with it is because less people have them it takes longer for firmware upgrades to come out.
yip, bit more finicky to upload firmware and firmwar releases are not as frequent as others, but they are a good box with solid firmware
