@guyrus......I haven't had a bad problem with nero 7 premium...... although I must admit I don't use it much but so far so good and it just works for what I want it to do... hahahahahahah which isn't much compared to all my other programs.

I am with guyrus for now, 6.6.0.18 for me too. I have 7 but it still has that MP3 problem and the slow load for NVE, have not tried the latest update I think I will wait for the time being until I hear some better feedback in these areas.

@Arniebear..... what MP3 problem..... I just about the Vision problem and some other burning problem but didn't know about an MP3 prob. Then again I haven't burned a CD in a long time. thinking of updating my music in my car with new CDs..... will Nero Express work for MP3 CD? I have the buggy Nero 7 Prem.

The problem I had was that the CD's would skip. I tried several drives, in fact I thought my new Sony CD burner that came with the comp was defective, but it wasn't. It happened on my BenQ and HP. Went back to 6 and no problems. There are other posts about this, so I know I am not the only one with the problem. Burning them at a slow speed seemed to help with the 7. Plus, I think I may be crazy on this one, but I do believe that Nero Recode seems to be faster in 6 than in 7. All in all I am extremely disappointed in 7, but that is just MHO :)

i always thought along the lines that if it isnt broken why try and fix it.I have 7 but still prefer 6.The recode version in 6 does seem to have a slight edge over that of its counterpart in 7.I wonder if they attempted to tweak it in the upgrade but failed.

This was a reason for staying with 6.I really only use recode after i have converted files to mpeg2 anyway so 6 is fine for that as well
