I would say the R4DS due to the lower price, better support from the creators (quicker firmware updates than the Supercard) and much wider user base. I also believe the R4 is less prone to slowdowns in DS games than the Supercard, but that may have been fixed since I read that (a long time ago). The Supercards save management isn't quite as good as the R4 either, the R4 saves the save file directly to the MicroSD, the Supercard saves it to a save chip (which requires a battery?) and then copies the save onto the microSD the next time you boot the card. Having not used the Supercard DS One my opinion is a quite bias though. (also had bad experiences with old slot-2 supercards, so not much of a fan) The M3 DS Simply is just a rebranded R4, the only real difference is the firmware updates are released 2-3 days after an R4 update.
