which is the best media to burn ps3 games to, from my ps3's hdd?

what media do you guys here use to burn your ps3 backups to??

can i shrink them like with wii games??

or with option "create image file from files/folders"

As far as i know games will not work from disc. Disc really are a dying technology. Hard drive storage has come down in price. Im using a 2TB external and its has worked for every game ive wanted so far.

also the ps3 games are usually already shrunk in size as a standard BD-R is 25gb and a BD-R DL is 50 gb so all that is taken from the disc is just the game files and most of them are well under 25gb.

 

games will work from discs, you are wrong!! actually if using a BD-R to burn Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 it will work as a backup this way unlike backing it up to your HD as it wont work at all

 

i tried doing this with a BD-RW,,none of the games worked,,i guess just like the xbox,it has to be a BD-R,,not a RW,,

i think your the only one that has MWF 2 working off the hdd,,,i cant get it to work and alot of other people cant either

 

I would say that verbatim is one of the best medium. What I personally use because of the great price is the phillips DVD+r DL never had a coaster and it's more affordable then verbatim.

 

I call BULLSHIT!!! this game works for no one on HD's except COD3 what makes you so special to get it working

 

why dont you read the threads or do some research and you will see that many have got it working this way

 

i have been following that thread,,and there are alot of unhappy campers,,cant seem to get the disc to work no matter what they do,,ill keep reading,,getting interesting,,
