Which is the best player for AVI's

    TOPIC: MPEG not AVI sorry mistyped?

    Hi users,

    I am on the search for a free player to watch my downloaded mpeg films through. I have recently had to rebuild my pc, which used to play mpeg's fine through windows media player. But since the reinstall of all my software including WMP I now can not play files as it says they are corrupted and this happends on the original that I backed up on CD.

    Any possitive advice would be helpfull.

    It's not free but the best player in my experience has been WinDVD, could a good purchase in future!
