im thinking of getting another one but i noticed theres m3simply, m3real, and m3zero now.
im pretty confused, m3simply is pretty rare now and costs more than m3real.
m3real is newer but costs less in certain packages (who knows if those missing things in the more expensive packages are critical to performance)
m3zero just came out, but if im not getting a DSi is it worth it over getting m3real? i actually noticed the cost for a m3zero and m3real with a bigger package is similar.

i just want to play downloaded games, for the cheapest. no homebrew stuff, whatever that is!

    thanks for helping me out!

M3 Simply isnt really being made anymore so that's why it costs more even though its not as good.

M3 Real is the better version that replaced it. It comes in different packages, such as with a rumble pack and/or a RAM expansion. Neither are necessary to play any DS games. The ram expansion is used to play GBA games.

M3 Zero is the updated version of the M3 Real that is compatible with the new DSi. They use the same firmware, the only difference is that the Zero is compatible with the DSi.

There's also the 'M3 Real Adaptes' which is a fake bootleg version. Avoid that one.

Dealextreme is almost always the cheapest, but expect to wait at least 2 weeks on shipping.

I've heard focalprice has faster shipping for about the same prices, but I've never ordered from them so I cant speak from personal experience.

If you are thinking about an R4 then go do lots of homework

There is a reason they are cheap!

36 different types all using different firmware, most are based on the original card so the interface is poor in comparison to new cards.

Just look at all the threads on the first few pages of this forum, problems with R4, loading issues, which firmware - not a good choice!
