    Hey everyone,

Ive been downloading movie torrents for a long time now and have been seeing an increasing number of Blu Ray rips being uploaded as torrents. My question to the community is if i were to download a Blu ray torrent, would i be able to play the movie/file on a media player - VLC or WMP or do i need to download any other media player for that purpose? P.S - I am running Windows Vista SP1..Thanks!

As long as your PC is fairly loaded, and you have the right codecs installed you should be able to use whichever media player you wish. For mkv torrents you should use Media Player Classic. Also have either the latest build of CCCP or K-Lite Mega Codec pack installed.

For actual BDs on your PC you should still have the codecs installed and use Arcsoft Total Media Theatre for playback.
