I have a V3 PS2 (yeah, I know it's old) and I was wondering which mod would be the best/easiest for my console? I've read a little about Magic and Messiah, but I want others results. I'm really new to the mod-world, so talk in "idiot english" for me if you could. Thanks a lot!!!
One other thing... My DVD burner is a DVD+R/RW, will my DVD+Rs work on the PS2 with either of these mods? Thanks again...
as always i recomend a messiah chip. they are very reliable and it can play almost any media.... (possibly not minidiscs =0))
I'm afraid you're out of luck mate. A V3 PS2 cannot play +R/RW media. Only a handful of V4's and all V5/7 will play +R/RW.
Yeah he's right about that. You might as well trade it in and get a new one. The lens is crap on v1-3 and some v4's. contact me if you have anymore questions.
