Which modchip... will it break

    im thinking about getting the DSM4 EZI LITE SOLDERLESS MODCHIP for PS2
    will it break your PS2?
    Will others?

    i dont want to break my PS2 and i have V10 PS2 version.
    can some1 ansewer all my questions plz.

    well the solderless chips are good if you can install them without breaking them, which soooooo many people seem to do.

    If you want my advice then get a DMS4 Pro and have it soldered in by a pro.
    It will cost a little more that way, but if your break that chip you are out almost $70 anyway.

    Agreed. I had a DMS4 EZI Lite which worked fine at first but then the chip died. During the "let me fix it" phase, I ended up bending a couple of pins on the motherboard that I had to repair with a needle to get my system operational again.

    As great and easy as a solderless chip is, the EZI's are really flaky and can really mess up your system. I ended up buying a DMS4 PRO SE and payed $30 to someone to solder it for me - and it works PERFECTLY!!!
