    SAMSUNG 2220WM Black 22" 5ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 Built in Speakers - Retail

Im leaning more towards the second one since its bigger. But the first one has a faster response time (which doesnt really bother me that much) that and the second one is cheaper. But its only by a few so im torn between the two.

    Ideas?

You're far more likely to get the rebate off Newegg than Tiger Direct.
The 2220WM is, as you say bigger, and you'll barely notice the difference with the response time.

If you go with the 22", get the 226BW instead of the one that you have listed.

Agreed, it's one of the best 22" monitors out there, if not the best.

I really wanted the 21.6 inch bw for 159.99$ but it was sold out by the time that i could afford it :( it was 10$ cheaper on tigerdirect but it was also sold out. (that and it was 40$ cheaper than the 22 inch)

I know someone with a Chimei monitor, it looks pretty standard fare cheap stuff, but I didn't spot any dead pixels.
However, we're after good monitors, not cheap ones. I wouldn't buy either of those two.

Haha. I forgot about the wonders of EBAY and managed to find some pretty nice deals.

200$ for that original 21.6 samsung bw monitor.

Also found the 24 inch samsung bw for 240$ however its not brand new which was my only concern. Its listed as having "Some scratches and/or signs of use" which im also not to sure about since all they supply is a Stock Photo of the monitor. Although 24 at that price is a steal :(

    Edit:

Oh wow the 24 inches bidding price just shot up to 290$ Nooo thank you..

The 21.6 inch has 33 minutes left on it.

Figure ill wait another good 20 before i put my bid in, let the guy think hes got it won and then throw mine in at the last minute. Heh heh steal it away..

Surely that's ebay standard practice? Or at least it is for me anyway...

Everyone i know usually just does the "auto-bid up to X amount" thing and they win it that way. But if two people are doing that it just drives up the price for you, that and some people get their friends to bid on their stuff and if they happen to win just say the person didnt pay up.

Rack up the price on game tickets that way.

    I won!

Picked it up for a grand total of 237$. A slight bit cheaper than the MSRP and its actually in stock for once.
