    Hi bilal123
    Ultra and Premium are the same - Nero just has different names for them depending on which part of the world you are in.

    Upgrading to Nero 7 - well if you are using 6 I would stick with Nero 6 - 7 has too many defects throughout the versions.
    Just my 2 cents but I'd save my $ on Nero 7 for a bit to see if they can work out more of the defects.

    Thanks binkie7 for enlighting me about the different versions. I have Nero Ultra 6 and by your advice I will now save a few £'s.

    But is there alot of defects that bother you? Are can you live with them.

    Just depends on what you mainly use Nero for.
    The dvd burning part in Burning Rom and Express are fine from my experience. Recode in faster and less 'clunky' in the last version.

    If you mainly use it for Vision - not so good there. Audio sync seems to be one of the main problems along w/ files that other programs will handle give Nero a problem - common problems reported here.

    Burning mp3's to an audio cd - another problem - skipping problems there.
    There's more I'm sure - but these come to mind right off.

    So I use 2 versions depending on what I want to do - either 6.6.0.18 or 7.2.3.2b

    Ok, I will stick with Nero 6.6 for now as I mainly use Nero for DVD burning and maybe recoding.

    Thank you with the help.

    Sorry, mate but asking for links to pirated content is not allowed on Afterdawn. Maybe you have forgot to read the forum rules before joining.

    ...

    I will provide you with a link though as I have had a change of mind;)

    @bilal123

    excellent post to Ds123

    Yeah stick with nero 6.6.0.18 just like Binkie says. I have been using it for a while now without issues. And will continue until it won't do what I might need done.

    @Ds123

    You can talk and ask, ad naseum, about DVDs that you own and are having trouble backing up or how you backed up said DVDs. It's best not to ask about cracks or pirated software. Welcome to AD, a fountain of knowledge on most anything digital.
