which one is better

    do the swipe cards and other no solder modchips work just as good as the soldered one? i need to know because im getting my PS2 modded.

    Modchips can play pretty much anything you throw at it unlike Swap Magic which can't even run DVD9 games. The downside to modchips are they usually at some point stop working, overall modchips are better you never have to rebuild games just to play them and most play dual layers DVDs meaning that if you have a dual layer burner and a dual layer game it just a matter of doing a straight copy unlike swap magic which most user go through hell just to get a DVD9 game to work.

    @p4_tt: What do you mean by "they usually at some point stop working"?
    Do modchips "burn out" on a regular basis?

    What's the expected lifetime of a Matrix Infinity if that's the case?
