You need a Flashcart that is compatible with a DSi, generally the ones with "i" somewhere should work with a DSi

If you read the forums you will see R4 mentioned a lot, this card has many clones/ copys and have many problems.

Other cards such as Acekard, Cyclone, M3 much better...

Beware where you buy your flascart as you can get forgeries which wont be up to the job.

Best advice i can give do some homework on the whole scene join some forums and get clued up on how games are copied, anti piracy measures etc. you will soon see which cards are problematic and which ones arent.

yep and avoid anything with R4 in it. also avoid kingston micro sd cards there very problematic, loss or corrupt data is a big issue with them.

I bought 3 Acekards 2i from that exact website they were definately originals. all work perfectly. I have had very few problems with my cards,(just a steep learning curve) i would definately recommend this card. Dont forget you will also need a Micro SD card, the SD cards they sell too work perfectly, ive had 2,4 and 8 GB from them no slow down & work fine.

gaming15 will give you 15% off (if gaming15 dont work it will give you 10% off code instead). If you go through quidco as well you get an additional 15% cashback...

Instead of the Acekard firmware install AKAIO 1.5.1 it is much better.

ACEKARD 2i WILL NEED UPDATING BEFORE YOU CAN USE IT IN A DSi V1.14

you will have to update the firmware on your actual Acekard flashcart (not the SD Card,) using a DS.

As the Acekard is blocked on a DSi v1.14 you will need a lower version DSi(lower than 1.14) or DS/DSlite to do an update to the Acekard for it to work in a DSi Version1.14

You download two .nds files one if you update using a DSi and one for DS/DSlite
use the one according to the type of ds you can get hold of to do the update.

You should find more step by step details here:

    Guide:

    (link for firmware files broken)

    OR
http://www.mediafire.com/?n4nm0i5dmtm You can only update the Acekards firmware using a DS/DSlite or DSi version below 1.14

Once this somewhat confusing start to using the card is doen you will be glad you did as time and time again you will have games working where others fail.
