i use dvd decrypter then dvd 2 one(i dont want a 2 disc solution) then i use copy to dvd but im tired of dealing with the buy me crap,or rather the trial version i have.first off it takes me 1 hour to decry the movie, then 30 min to shrink it and finally 30 minutes to burn it.i am wondering if there is a better way to burn the dvds?also what is the best burning software to use to burn dvds keep in mind i want software that will shrink the dvd to one disc.i heard dvd x copy express does all three things in 45 minutes which is great but everyone seems to have problems with it so is there any other programs out there that burn a good quality dvd and does it quicker than my current process?

I use dvd decrypter, then dvd2one to shrink, Then the latest nero burning rom to burn.
Forget dvdxcopy or dvdxpress, it leaves the copy-protection on, puts on a 10 sec nag screen, and you can't copy your copies with it.
I have it and only used it once(when it first came out). Haven't used it since.
You can look for my previous post "Burning a dvd with nero" to see directions for burning your dvd to be the most compatable with dvd players.

When i first started it took up to 3 hours but now I use dvdshrink to rip and compress then burn using the latest nero software, the whole process takes on average depending upon the size of the original dvd 45 minutes.
If your drive supports the DMA function (use device manager to find out)make sure its selected this helped speed things up drematically.

one hour to decrypt and another thirty minutes to shrink? Sounds like you have a slooooow computer.

CPU and memory plays a big part in those two processes.

Someone more informed can probably give you the mind numbing and snooze inducing details...

    Or a slow dvd-rom. I decrypt in 4-15 min. I have sony CRX300A and it rips at 16x. dvd2one in 10-20 min.
