Which Slim drives currently Cannot be flashed?

    A friend of mine brought me a dreaded slim xbox with a mfg date of 03/11. I havent opened it yet as I do not want to waste my time if it cannot be flashed. is there a way to tell which drive is in there by the mfg date? If I open it, what fw ver am I looking for? Thanks

    (sigh) I just cracked er open and there is a 0225 inside. I guess Ill wait. I have the Lizard handy.

    the way i figured out how to find the 9405 is from june 2010 and july 2010,0225 fw should be released soon
