I recently borrowed a backup of The Grudge off a mate,it was a perfect copy with functional menus and all that, but all the special features & crap had been taken off, which i thought was genius! how do you do that? Ive been using the old faithful DVD Shrink, Nero 6, DVD decrypter with AnyDVD combo for about a year now with great success, but id love to know how to remove all the useless rubbish that i dont watch...

CloneDVD2 allows you to preserve menus while copying the main feature of whatever.

Nero recode will do it also.
You could use dvd shrink, and replace the extras with a still image.

Another nice app I use on all my backups is DVDRemake. It allows me to keep a functional menu, the movie (of course) deleted/extended scenes, bloopers, and the making of however I choose, getting rid of previews, trailers, and warning screens etc.
