hi i keep geting a white bar on my mpegs i capture from video. i want to record my old videos to my pc then put them on to vcds but i get a white bar on the picture i guess its something to do with macrovison. does anyone know how to get round this. im useing a gforce 4 card witch has a video capture card built in cheers
If these are pre-recorded commercial tapes than it is probably macrovision. I'm not familiar with macrovision patches for your video card, but you could try going through the information on macrovision removal for GeForce cards at the bottom of this page: http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/macrovision_graphics.html
could not find anything on there, just goes on about the output its the input i need a fix for thx anyway its only prerecored tapes no probs with own recored tapes, iv got a copy box for video to video recording tryed that but same thing
