White screen on IPOD NANO

    I was listening to my 4GB IPOD NANO this morning and the screen just went white, it is still playing music but cant access anything as screen is white, i tried all the usual stuff associated with ipods, anyone any ideas???

    Does that mean you replaced the iPod?

    No, just the reset mode, and disk mode, and restore...

    How old is your Nano? Just curious I bought one the first year it was out.

    I bought my wife a refurbished 16g Sansa View for 60 bucks. It is a bit bigger than the first nanos but it has a 2"x1.5" very vivid screen. Apple dooesn't have anything close to the screen quality or the battery life (36 hrs of audio). It costed less than my leather case for my nano.

    It is 4th Gen, Its aorund 16 months old...
