Who makes the best DVD+R/RW disks, regardless of price?

    Does anyone know who makes the highest quality DVD+R/RW blank media, regardless of the price?

    I believe that Verbatim makes the best dvd media.

    I hate to say it like this, but if your dvd burner is a sony, generally the same type of (sony) blank dvd provided with the drive will work very reliably, same thing for pioneer, but in general I would aggree with mgf that verbatim is very high quality.

    Verbatim and Maxell are very excellent.
    Fuji Film is fine too.

    I bought a pack of Fuji Film dvd+r media and not one of them has failed on me yet. Fry's had them on sale last week, 25 pack for $44.99

    Yes FujiFilm DVD+R is the best so far. i recorded two movies using dazzle dvd complete and recorded using my sony dru500ax and record now dx. it plays excellent in my xbox and in my panasonic a120u which doesnt even support any dvd recordable media. it was released in '99.
