i agree there with creaky, seems like one of the comments stated that they were made in HONG KONG, DEFINITELY FAKE TYS~ i wouldn't take them if microcenter GAVE them to me~ i would not trust them personally~
I begged the differ. It is fake! So what for that price $11.99 each when purchase 3 or more is a steal. At first, i had doubts. 150 burned disc (DVD+R) later, I am convinced and a believer of windata. The reliablity rate is very high. Out of 50 disc spindle, I burned 2-3 coasters and it was my fault for burn on the fly when the reader can not keep up with the burner @ 16X. The DVDs are labled at 8X but i was able to burn em at 16X only using maddog burner with the latest firmware. Play back is very good. No freeze, skip or errors. I have to say they are the best dvd media I have used.
@gurnard - i'm having a weekend free of bad media discussions due to being haranged by people who take pleasure in winding up those of us who give good advice pointing ppl away from crap media (foraminal that's not aimed at you btw) @foraminal - that's good if you got something that works for you. there are always ppl who have good results with unheard or lesser media. happy burning
