You're soliciting an opinion here and that's exactly what you'll get. Use Google to do some research. You'll find out more that way.
Eveybody has there own opinions on what is the best, a lot of people thind DVDRebuilder and Cinema Craft Encoder give the most quality. I use Nero Recode2 or CopytoDVD with AnyDVD. You will get lots of different preferences. There are lots of programs that have free trials, try them out and you will know what you like :~)
@beeer - for me there's no contest. Have used Nero for over over 5years, virtually hassle free throughout many versions/updates. p.s. - you have started 3 other Nero-related threads (all quite similar); i and others have given you quite a bit of detailed help, and i'm assuming from your non-reply to those, & the raising of this thread, that you're looking for something to replace Nero; that's perfectly fine, though it would be good if you could give some feedback to the relevant threads. If nothing else, it serves as good reference for other newbies to search thru for their problems - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/193937 http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/194839 http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/195841
@ beeer : nero recode plus anydvd is a sweet deal, but cant do everything so there are other programs that you may want to try like: sony dvd architect 2.0 shrink dvd clonedvd2 dvd decrypter all are recommended What are you looking at doing that you need to replace your existing software
Intervideo DVDCopy3 WITH anydvd running in the backgound gets my vote VERY easy to use and GREAT quality , both have a free trial.
When you say burning program do you mean burning rom or backup program? I prefer nero for my burning rom and RB/CCE is without a doubt a far superior encoder but is not free. Mort
