    hi ,

i have some ty media that codes out as tyg03 and i burned a few to see what score i would get thru nero cd/dvd drive speed tool . i am getting a score of 77 with ty and 95-98 with sony dvd+r . i have always read that ty is supposed to be the best media around but why the low score , and how come the sony gets such a good score . also is daxon cd-r any good , i just bought a 50 pack of fuji cd-r and they code out as daxon and i have never heard of them . thanks

I am assuming that you used same burning speed for Sony and for TY.Where did you buy those TY discs?
When it comes to burning discs, the media is not the only factor that contributes to the quality of the burn. Although the TY media is the best, it doesn't mean it will work miracles with burners that don't have the best compatible firmware. Is your burner's firmware up to date?
