Why are my Subtitles nothing but a green box??

    I am converting a DivX file to DVD with subtitles. I used Subrip to convert the ones that came with it to an .SRT file so I can use IFO Edit. Converted the DivX in TmpgEnc. Now when I play it in my DVD player the Subtitles are a Green Box with no words!

    Where did I go wrong?
