I thought that EA was on Sony's side but now I hear they might make more games for the Xbox than playstation. I just totally hate EA right now.
they're just trying to figure out how to make the most money. it is business, after all, and they've been suffering a bit lately. a good recovery is the best they can hope for, and that's what they're trying to ensure.
If I was EA I would pick which system will be more popular down the road and stay with. After all Playstation sells more EA games than Xbox.
i heard that ESPAN sports and EA sports sales on PS2 were almost the same. and EA sales on the PS2 were high but not selling as well.
EA could side with both. I mean a huge sports fan isnt into consoles and stuff as much as a gamer obviosly(there are exceptions though) so if he sees a sports title on both systems he will just buy the cheaper system. not the best for the console maker he doest buy from but either way EA makes money
In actuality, EA has trademarks with 3 major companies, just like Square-Enix has with Nintendo AND Sony, I think in the future they will keep it this way... it would be the best thing to do for them if they really wanted to make money, that way it doesn't matter what system people have and we could buy EA products no matter what system we prefer. Just have to wait and see I guess.

EA are a greedy money hungery organisation they will see who has more machienes on pre order then quickly rush a game in 2 months to get it out in time for launch, and people will go and pay £40. everbody is happy arent they?
im a xbox 360 fan but come down, all New EA sport games are come out to Xbox,xbox360, and PS2. so why not PS3 well since PS3 is set to sell untill late 2Q - early 3Q. NFL,NCAA football NHL,Tiger woods, and NBA 2006 are come out at less months afther these games come out and since it might be like july when the PS3 comes out.it is point less to make a game for PS3 when in 4 months after PS3 comes out they will have 2007 games in the work. their baseball game might be for PS3. ________________________________________ i have to say one thing are they a company i wouldnt call them a orgaisation do they work for arkida or something? 2nd every company is money hungery
True, they are but EA do rush there games there are so many titles like the lord of the rings franchises which could have been so more then justa hit and slash game, there could have been real depth in the levls and quality gameplay instead they just stuck the same game engine we have seen in games like streets of rage back on the mega drive, just added way more combinations, in between fancy DVD movie clips and it sells like hotcakes. a prime exmaple is how they destroyed golden eye, the RARE game was brillient andd then they had to get there mits on it and do what they have done to all there bond games, i think it took me like 2 days to complete, there is no depth at all in there games except there sports games which i admit they do well, thats about it though.
They aren't 'siding' with any system. They make games for the demographic and that can be the decider of the console. They aren't making more on one system to spite anyone. Although recently in a board meeting they were deliberating making an estimated 1.2 million more by making a certain game for PS3 or making it only for 360 just to piss you off. Seems reasonable. 1.2 mil, or pissing you off, hmmm tough one.
i think their still on sony's side, but cmon, the xbox 360 is comming a year earlier than the ps3, so nba live 06, madden nfl 06, nhl 06 and oter games wot be on the ps3,i mean when the ps2 comes out, ea will probably concentrate more on he ps2 because of it popularity and because of the graphics and specs.
