    Hi
i left a thread about this before but I can't find it. I didn't realize you had to use clean language so maybe they deleted it. Too bad though, it some weird imagery in it too.
but lets get down too business-
I've taken some movies with a digital camera. they are .MOV files, they play in quicktime no prob. however i can't seem to edit them in windows movie maker which is the program I usually use. Its from a 2003 operating system, windows xp. Can you tell me if windows movie maker is suppsoed to be able to edit .mov's and if not whats the best program to use?

    thanks a lot,
    Will

Movie Maker doesn't import QuickTime videos. QuickTime(MOV)is a format/container created by Apple. Windows Movie Maker is by Micro$oft, so obviously don't match.

There might be some pay for editing software, however, I would convert them to Avi or mpeg in order to edit them.
