I have and enhnaced CD Bob Segers Greatest Hits 2 and for some reason it doesn't show in my CD drive in my computer. I only have this problem with this CD all others work just fine. Is there something I don't know about this type of CD that I should? It's a Capitol CD made in 2003. It says Mastered by EMI MFG.
what program are you using to try and rip the CD? try using EAC (exact audio copy.) follow the guide in my sig below.
Didn't help, my drive doesn't even recognize this CD as being in the drive. All other CD's it can see but for some reason this one spins up but is never detected even thou it will play in a SONY CD walkman or my cars cd player.
Likely it is copy protected, so you would need special software to do the rip. I just skip those my self and down load from a torrent site because I do not know of any good software to do the job. Most of my library is old so I do not run into that much. 2 out of 600+ is not worth acting on.
clone cd from slysoft should remove the copy protection. It has a free trail period so maybe try that.

Nope, it doesn't. I have clone as well as AnyDVD. What I read says that using a marker to color the gap would work but I've given up and got rid of the disk. Thanks for yourinput all, appreciate your help. If it would have been a disk I really vauled I would have kept trying.
