I wonder why this dude got banned, he seemed like a nice guy. If any of the mods could tell us why it should help, so others don't make the same mistake.

He was ok with me, I suppose that's because I was curtious to him in that thread.

He sent me this PM yesterday.

sorry about the whole argument in that forum, it was very childish and it should have never happened, and I am truly sorry.

    thanks for accepting the apology

Anyway, do we really need a brand new thread each time someone is banned?

a lot of these ppl who get banned, it's obvious by just searching their last few posts why they get the high jump. it always makes me laugh, it's so bloody easy to fit in and be civil/help ppl without attitude or whatever (general statement there btw) but unfortunately some ppl just like to get under ppl's skin. or maybe they just can't help it, i dunno.

anyway, is there really a need to open a thread just to ask why someone got the boot, all it ever needs is a bit of searching, it's not like it's a secret society or anything

I agree completely Creaky, for the last few weeks there have been alot of these threads created about why people have been banned. I don't think they are out of concern, but rather to drag the offenders name through the mud one more time.

This is dg0896, under this name though, I just wanted to say sorry to everyone that this whole "argument" thing affected. Anyway I just wanted to know if we could put all of that behind us and start over. Also, there isn't a need to open a new thread just because i got banned.

    Thanks,
    DG

Again, I ask why user's aren't given an IP ban. I'm all for second chances where appropriate but.. six times? Jeez..

Can't do IP bans as proxy servers change IP address everytime you use them, or so I am led to believe.
