Why did my thread get deleted?

    I wrote a thread last night asking about widescreen versus fullscreen. When I went to check the comments it no longer is on this "all other topics" forum. I'm wondering what I did wrong, as I did a search on the topic before posting my question and there were no threads that answered my question.

    I know I'm still learning about this website, but this has confused me.

    Please let me know, and let me know how or where I can ask my question without having my thread removed.

    It may have just been moved from the forum as it's not in the best place to be discussed.

    I'm sure there was a good reason for it though..

    Edit: I had a kinda half arsed look for it and couldn't find it, so dunno. But seeing as you said "x vs y" then that could be grounds for a flame war.. But whatever, I dunno :)

    i may have teleported that thread to the correct forum myself, but don't remember (and if it was me i omitted to reply to it saying i'd moved it, in which case you'd have been informed where it'd gone automatically). oops if it was me that moved it and not said :)
