How come i was able to record a film on a dvd-r disk to a blank dvd-r disk when the HP200i is only supposed to record dvd+r disks.?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Dave o'connor[/small]
So basically you copied a copied DVD movie to a DVD-r ???? I am interrested ! I have a HP 200i too. What brand DVD-r do you have and what firmware ? Are you sure about this ? I guess you are as suprised as I am to hear so.
This is basically what happened, I got a dvd-r disc with a movie on it from a friend of mine.I was able to use a hp pc with a Hpdvd200i preinstalled. I bought a blank TDK dvd-r disk and copyed the original using a program called RECORD NOW. The original copied DVD-R disk had no brand on it but a white blank label. So can i use this drive to copy futher dvd-r disks or is something wrong here. Thanks
I will test this at home ! It is interesting because the DVD-r are much cheaper than the DVD+r. If this is true we have kind of a Sony Dru writer that writes + and - !!! How the .... is this possible, I'll be back with the testresults !
If you would be so kind of trying it out elclubber, I would apreciate it ! I don't have DVD-r at home right now, so.... Didn't test it yet... Let us know !
